Preg Testing Your Sheep and Goats
As a part of our continuous efforts to improve customer experience and product quality, we are pleased to inform you of some new claims for our EARLY PREG28 (blood preg test) and EASYPREG (milk preg test) pregnancy testing services.
New Claims for Bovine Pregnancy Test – Effective Immediately
You can now use both EARLY PREG28 and EASYPREG for the detection of pregnancy-associated glycoproteins (PAGs) not only in serum or EDTA plasma of cattle from 28 days post-breeding, and from 60 days post-calving, but also in:
- Milk of cattle and goats from 28 days post-breeding
- Serum of goats from 28 days post-breeding
- Serum of sheep from 35 days post-breeding
- EDTA plasma of buffalo from 30 days post-breeding and from 60 days post- calving
IDEXX has updated the Bovine Pregnancy Test Validation Report to include data from sheep, goat and buffalo.
